Our coaches have a passion for helping players reach their potential through high level skill and leadership training.

Shawn Herkstroeter, M.Ed.

Coach Herkstroeter played Division III basketball at Martin Luther College (MN) and high school basketball at Nebraska Lutheran High School. He has been been active in youth sports for over 20 years—coaching basketball teams at the elementary, middle school and high school levels, working and running camps, and helping individual players with skill development. Coaching experiences include St. Paul’s Lutheran School-Menomonie, WI, Menomonie High School camps and summer program- Menomonie, WI, UW-Stout Camps- Menomonie, WI, Abiding Word Lutheran School- Houston, TX, Alodia Sports Academy- Tomball, TX, Faith Lutheran School- Fond du Lac, WI, and Wisconsin Drive AAU Basketball- Oshkosh, WI. Coach Herkstroeter instills in his players the importance of best effort and attention to detail.

Kaleb Buch, M.Ed.

Coach Buch played Division III basketball at Martin Luther College (MN) and high school basketball at Manitowoc Lutheran High School. Also an All Conference college soccer player, Coach Buch understands the importance of playing low. Playing and coaching experiences include AAU tournaments from Las Vegas to Louisville, to high school and elementary coaching in Wisconsin. Coach also has provided individual player development to area prep athletes to players in the Fond du Lac area and beyond. Coach Buch stresses perfection in all areas to create a well balanced player to succeed in multiple ways on the court.
